Convince me who to vote for

-you should vote for NDP because they will cut tax income for small businesses then there will be more small businesses in Canada. They also want to create a 15 dollar a ‘day child care plan which will help families struggling to pay taxes. And the NDP does not want to raise the income tax for Canadians. A possible objection is that the NDP wants to cancel the income splitting for families. But so will the liberals and the conservatives – you should vote for the NDP because they will cancel income splitting for families and they won’t raise the income tax for Canadian’s.

Reading Journal – Whatcha Reading?

readingToday you are going to start a reading journal.  To do this you are going to start by reading for 15 min. and then log into your blog and type up a quick reflection on your book.  Follow the guidelines below.

Your reading journal blog should include:

  • The title of your book
    • You should also have a picture of the cover of the book.
  • Who are the characters?
  • What is the story about?
  • What has happened so far?
  • What do you think will happen next?

Your journal should be of sufficient length to include all the information asked for above.

Grade 4/5 Nutrition – Bill Nye knows what’s good for you

Today we are going to talk about nutrition with a focus on food labels.  To discuss this we started on kidshealth.org and asked questions about what foods are healthy for our bodies.  We also watched Bill Nye to learn about general nutrition in our diets.  We enj0yed this handy website to play some nutrition games online.
