The best gecko beginners if you’ve never had a pet gecko are albino gecko or leopard gecko They are just so cute and small and easy pet and if your nice to them and not holding them too much they are calm but if you make them scared or they get scared they could drop their tail to get away from what is scaring them or if they are about to attack they wag their tail fast. If a gecko is comfortable in their cage/home they are active and enjoy exploring the in closure and looking at you when walking by or infront of the glass. Also a water bowl and food bowl (meal worms) they also eat crickets but put the gecko and crickets in a container while they eat. You cant put the crickets loose in the cage they would jus jump around. And for the bedding in the cage you could lay little rocks,dirt or paper towel. definitely paper towel in the corner at the lizard uses the bathroom and they live 10-20 years.
