I think every kid should be able to explore their interests… if all she did was report on gruesome stuff, I’d be worried but it sounds like this girl reports on a lot of different things around her town. Kids are exposed to violence on tv, video games, even in their own communities. You can’t block it. Tea parties and dolls weren’t my thing either. I think she should keep doing what she is doing!
I would be so proud of this girl if she were my daughter because she is working so hard on something she loves and she even responds to negative criticism with strength and conviction.
