Choose one of the 3 options below for a quickwrite.  Students are to complete their quickwrite and have it posted to their blog before Friday. Jan. 30.  They must also make sure to have a printed copy of their quickwrite to share with small groups on Friday.

Options:

1) A blind person has just undergone surgery to regain their sight.  Write about the experience of opening their eyes for the first time.

2) You and your friends go to a horror movie.  You are terrified beyond belief but it’s not the movie that scares you.

3) “It all happened so suddenly!”

On Friday students will use questions for peer review.  We will get into small groups, share our quickwrites and give peer revision feedback.
