Science – Static Electricity – Basic Static Exchange “Static Electricity Worksheet”
Today students studied the basic ways that static can exchange between different items. We focused on how static is electrons staying in one place. Insulators tend to keep electrons in one place.
We also talked about how conductors tend to spread electrons across their surface (“conducting”) the electricity. This means they can’t collect electrons to create a static charge.
We also talked about how electrons tend to move from where there are more electrons to where there are less electrons.
